Offices and telephone lines to be closed May 24, 2013 and four other days
On May 15, 2013, the IRS announced that it will be closed on May 24th, June 14th, July 5th, July 22nd and August 3rd.
Due to the current budget situation, including the sequester, all IRS operations will be closed on those days. This means that all IRS offices, including all toll-free hotlines, the Taxpayer Advocate Service and the agency’s nearly 400 taxpayer assistance centers nationwide, will be closed on those days. IRS employees will be furloughed without pay. No tax returns will be processed and no compliance-related activities will take place.

Did You Know That You Could Be Subject To A Use Tax?
In South Carolina (as in many states) you are required to report all purchases made via the internet, catalogs or any other source that does not charge you sales tax. The fact that the seller doesn't charge sales tax doesn't mean that you are not responsible for it. This uncollected sales tax at the time of the transaction is called use tax.
